Biographie

POOLSTAR* (the name is a hommage to Rolling Stones founder Brian Jones, who was the first rocknroll star found dead in a pool in 1969) exists since May 2002 and we played over 300 shows and festivals (for example with IGGY POP, DIE ÄRZTE, DÚNÉ, SPORTFREUNDE STILLER, DOG EAT DOG, SEEED, THE BEATSTEAKS, DIE HAPPY, GODS OF BLITZ, EL*KE, MIA., SPITTING OFF TALL BUILDINGS, MYBALLOON, SHAKA PONK, RANSOM, DECEMBER PEALS, BOOZED, BOSS HOSS, REVOLVERHELD, EXTRABREIT...

We are all born, raised and based in Berlin Rock City in the heart of Europe and have recently signed with EMI Music Publishing. We released two album CDs ("LOSING GRAVITY" and "POOLSTAR), the single CD "BLOW YOUR MIND AWAY" (the official hymn of Europe's biggest motocross show NIGHT OF THE JUMPS) and the internet singles "GET OUT OF OUR WAY" and "ALONE AGAIN" on their on record label GOMRecords. Our video to "SOMETHING IN YOUR EYES" from the first album has been broadcasted 10 weeks on the german music video channel VIVAplus. The electro remix of our latest single "ALONE AGAIN" by Berlin DJ KOOK has been chosen to be part of the CLUBBERS GUIDE TO BERLIN compilation (Ministry of Sound).
